Her experience working internationally at the United Nations Development Program in Belgrade, Serbia piqued her interest in the intersection of diplomacy and social justice. Her favorite part about working at IVCLA is how rewarding it feels to create programs which change lives, not only professionally, but by bridging cultural barriers, promoting open dialogue, and allowing visitors to connect with Americans on a personal level. As IVCLA's Chief Operating Officer, Ho is responsible for maintaining the operations of the organization to meet program goals and projections, and for the organization’s financial reports.

In addition, the office actively builds UCLA’s global presence by supporting overseas networks of alumni and creating new strategic international programs. Among its innovations are networking and educational events that bring together Bruins, university partners and local leaders in countries around the world to discuss issues of local, regional and global concern. Headed by the Vice Provost for International Studies and Global Engagement, the office is responsible for UCLA’s global strategy and engagement. The office manages UCLA’s partnership agreements with foreign institutions, represents UCLA to international constituencies and organizations, hosts foreign delegations and dignitaries, promotes international education and exchange on campus and oversees the UCLA International Institute. We will also continue to implement efforts to strengthen our Alliance force posture, build high-end base capabilities, and increase preparedness that are necessary to deter and defend against threats. We resolve to deepen bilateral cooperation toward the effective development and employment of Japan’s suite of counterstrike capabilities, including the provision of U.S. materiel and technological support to enhance Japan’s indigenous stand-off programs.

Working since 1980 to increase international understanding and cooperation, the International Visitors Council of Los Angeles (IVCLA) arranges people-to-people exchanges between emerging international leaders and the citizens of the Los Angeles region. IVCLA's citizen diplomacy exchanges bring first-hand information about the rest of the world to Angelenos and provide international policy and opinion leaders with the opportunity to see with their own eyes the challenges and opportunities that define the Los Angeles region. Equity, diversity and inclusion are essential values of the UCLA International Institute. These professed ideals enable us to provide the kind of broad, global, multicultural educational experience central to the Institute’s academic programs. We welcome faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and want everyone at the Institute to feel respected and valued.

Stephen Ozoigbo is Senior Director of Business Development for Emerging Economies for the technology company ARM. In this position he oversees all aspects of business across a new set of digital economies and growth markets.

He also prepares the financial information for IVCLA's public and private grant applications and provides tech support for the IVCLA office. Ho finds fulfillment in working with IVCLA because it helps him further his goal of creating a more peaceful world. Outside of IVCLA, Ho enjoys the simple things in life, like cooking, barbecuing, fishing and camping.
